  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup vegetable or cooking oil
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 8 cups sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg

  2. Prepare the dough by sifting the flour as the first step.  In a bowl mix the flour with salt, milk and oil and knead into a nice firm ball.  You can also use a mixer for this purpose.  Divide the dough into two parts.
