The wedding of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal is often the topic of conversation the world over. The famous pair tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in a lavish celebration at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, India.

The Bollywood bride, who often ranks high on finest -dressed lists, won the world over with her exquisite wedding gowns. Katrina’s wedding outfits are the substance of fantasies, with its mixture of simple and exquisite options, as well as classic and modern cuts. A run-down of her wardrobe options follows here.

A gorgeous mustard sari en route to her nuptials

Katrina opted to wear Indian clothing on the plane when flying to her wedding venue in Rajas, in honour of traditional bridal persona. She opted for an elegant Anamika Khanna set when traveling. Her outfit was understated and chic: a mustard-yellow sharara set with white thread work embellishments and juttis. Her well styled hair was down, and her flawless makeup complemented the beautiful look.

An exquisite lehenga for the mehndi ceremony

On December 7, 2021, the festivities started with an enjoyable mehndi ritual. Katrina wore an exquisite Sabyasachi lehenga in a range of hues for the event. Katrina’s effortless elegance in her outfit was magnificent. Katrina wore a multi-coloured matka cloth lehenga with a patched bodice and an embellished tulle dupatta, all of which are reminiscent of Sabyasachi’s graduation series Kashgaar Bazaar.

The range was inspired by a variety of Indian provincial customs, craftsmanship, and nomadic traditions, and had spotted designs layered with hand-fringed ornaments, brass studs, and highly embroidered edges. She accessorized with exquisite Sabyasachi jewellery too. She also honoured customs by getting beautiful henna tattoos on her feet and arms. Reports also indicate that the happy pair bought herbal organic mehndi cones as part of the celebration.

Katrina’s upbeat haldi ceremony attire

The haldi ritual continued the festivities into the second day. All accounts indicate that the event was a rousing success, with guests dancing to the wedding band and covering the happy couple with turmeric paste as a representation of good fortune. Stunning furnishings and decorations livened up the space too!

Katrina was adorned with a jaw-dropping Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation. The bride wore a cream lehenga with gota and tilla appliqués and a gota and marori embroidered organza dupatta, finished with kiran. She also complemented the look with a set of flowery jhumkas and a festive pendant.

The grand finale: A stunning red wedding dress

When the big day eventually arrived, it was jam-packed with a variety of ceremonies. To honor Vicky Kaushal’s Punjabi heritage, a saat phera event was held. Katrina decided on a customary crimson Sabyasachi lehenga for the final nuptial event.  Her striking red wedding lehenga was made with handmade matka silk with delicate tilla workmanship and precisely crafted renaissance zardozi borders in velour.

Her headdress was adorned with a kiran , a nod to her husband’s Punjabi heritage. Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery created a one-of-a-kind wedding set for Katrina Kaif, consisting of uncut diamonds set in gold, and finished with delicate pearls. The actress also accentuated her eyes with extravagant lash extensions and a rich, smoky dark eyeliner. Her silky skin and natural looking lips served as the perfect finishing touches.
