Yeh Mera Dil  – Don

The song was part of the original Amitabh Bachchan starrer Don which was released in 1978. But the version we have chosen as one of the best Bollywood songs is from the remake of the movie and the song in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer 2006 film of the same name. In the newer film Helen’s sensual dance was replaced by Kareena’s moves. The original song had the brilliant combination of Asha Bhosle’s voice and Kalyanji-Anandji’s music, and now coupled with a modern twist, this song has become party favorite ever since.

Chaiyya Chaiyya – Dil Se

You can never forget Malaika Arora and Shah Rukh Khan dancing atop the Nilgiri train while it makes its way through the hills. A passionate Urdu love song sung by Sukhvinder Singh and Sapna Awasthi, composed by AR Rehman produced one of the one of the best Hindi Bollywood songs. The lyrics of the song were penned by Gulzar and was the dance anthem of the last century. The song also found its way in one of the Hollywood films starring Denzel Washington – The Inside Man. Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai – Khoobsurat

How can we not have a Bollywood dance song list without a song which has the incomparable Hrithik Roshan in it. The track is a funky duet by Shilpa Rao and Arijit Singh featuring Hrithik and Vaani Kapoor. The song’s upbeat music has been composed by the duo of Vishal-Shekhar and an absolute thumping dance track. The catchy hook -line of the song though is taken from the track in the 1987 film Param Dharam which was originally sung by Salma Agha. The song fits perfectly to the energy of this high-octane action movie of 2019 and is one of the top Bollywood songs. 

Tu Meri – Bang Bang

No matter how hard we tried to keep Hrithik Roshan from appearing on this list more than once, but we just couldn’t. The dancing superstar of Bollywood gave a sample of some serious moves in this song from the film Bang Bang, a remake of a Tom Cruise starrer Hollywood movie. The music of the song is composed by Vishal Shekhar and has been sung by Vishal Dadlani who also penned the lyrics for the song. The video features Katrina Kaif matching every step with Hrithik. The choreography for the song was done by Bosco Martis who claimed that Hrithik changed 12 pairs of shoes in this song. Muqabla – Street Dancer 3D

The original song made Prabhu Deva a star with his gravity defying and rubberized dance moves. The original song was released in 1994 and was recreated recently and was included in the film Street Dancer 3D. The recent version is sung by Yash Narvekar and Parampara Thakur and features Prabhudeva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. While the original was already a favorite but the recent remake and with a more peppy music infused, this cult song has been made unforgettable for a long time to come and will remain the top choice for any party playlist.

Maahi Ve – Kal Ho Na Ho

The upbeat dance song is from the 2003 movie Kal Ho Naa Ho. The lyrics, surprisingly for this peppy track, has been penned by lyricist and song writer Javed Akhtar. The song features Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan with cameos from Rani Mukerji and Sonali Bendre. The video of the song is set at a wedding-like event and is a DJ favorite at all desi wedding sangeet and parties.

Sheher Ki Ladki – Khandaani Shafakhana

The song is sung by Badshah, Tulsi Kumar and Abhijeet for the  movie Khandaani Shafakhana. The music of the song is given by Tanishk Bagchi. This is the recreated version of the original song, featuring the dazzling Diana and rapper Badshah. However, Raveena Tandon and Suneil Shetty, who featured in the original version, make an appearance towards the end of the video and look as stunning as they did in the original Sheher Ki Ladki from the 1996 film Rakshak.
