AYSHA NY is perhaps best known for its stylish take on a classic tailored blazer. To produce it, AYSHA NY partnered with Louis Miller Studio and a women’s group from Bareilly, India, which connects skilled artisans from rural India. These artisans are able to work on the Bird Bomber from their home, delivering detailed, handcrafted embroidery for a fair living wage while also enhancing their own skills. With little to no carbon footprint coming out of its production, it’s a jacket you’ll not only love to wear but feel good about wearing as well.
The Bird Bomber isn’t AYSHA NY’s only social initiative. They’ve also collaborated with Her Justice, a nonprofit that helps women living in poverty by providing powerful legal help at no charge to them. The AYSHA Blazer is a classic, stylish office staple. For every blazer sold, 10 percent of profits go to Her Justice.
