Social and Political Commitment
She has been committed to society and this is reflected in her entrepreneurship initiatives too. She was on the frontlines of the Covid-19 crisis in New York and experienced the pandemic’s catastrophic impact on NYC. As a community organizer, Deepti led grassroot efforts to address food insecurity and brought food to thousands of frontline workers, domestic violence shelters, and nursing homes.

Business Center for New Americans is a non-profit that encourages immigrant entrepreneurship by providing micro-loans and financial education. As part of NYC Mayor’s WE NYC initiative, she has mentored female entrepreneurs.
