We hung out with Rooshy Roy and the aavrani team at the most recent SEEMA Virtual Happy Hour. Got Tequila, Turmeric, Lemon? That’s what need to make this skin-glowing mellow yellow tonic while quarantining. Add three more ingredients from your pantry, and you’ve got the perfect “glow-tion” potion. Here’s what you will need:
Recipe:
- 1 oz tequila or vodka
- 1 two-inch pieces of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 two-inch pieces of turmeric, peeled or 1 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp agave syrup or honey
- sparkling water
- cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Place ginger, turmeric and lemons into a juicer and allow to strain into a glass jar.
- Stir in agave / honey
- Add 1 – 2 oz of turmeric ginger juice into a glass filled with ice.
- Add in 1 oz of tequila or vodka
- Add in sparkling water and cayenne on top for a kick
