Luscious mangoes and black tea combine to create delightful and delectable mango tea. There are a number of ways to flavour and sweeten iced tea, but the most common is to add fruit. During the mango season, many Indian households prepare this mango tea recipe.

Iced tea was first mentioned in 1823. Estelle Woods Wilcox’s Buckeye Cookbook and Marion Cabell Tyree’s Housekeeping in Old Virginia both provide iced tea recipes from the 1870s and 1880s, respectively.

Iced tea is served in a variety of ways across the globe, including in India, Nepal, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Here’s some of advantages of drinking this, as well a straightforward recipe for mango iced tea.

Why Consume Iced Tea with Mangoes?

Note that the black or green tea used in mango iced tea has a plethora of health benefits, although we’ll just be discussing the advantages of mangoes here.

Help in the treatment of inflammation

Antioxidants and vitamin C in mangoes have anti-inflammatory properties. Mango eating may be beneficial for those suffering from inflammatory diseases such as osteoarthritis.

Skin that’s less rough

Wrinkles on post-menopausal females were reduced by over 20% after only 2 months of eating half a cup of mangoes a few times a week, according to a study published in 2020.   After 4 months, participants in the study showed a 20% drop. However, further work in this area is required.

Enhanced cardiovascular and digestive wellness

In healthy post-menopausal women, ingesting 2 cups of mangoes daily reduced systolic blood pressure. These results were presented at the 2018 American Society for Nutrition conference. That’s probably due to its high concentration of antioxidants like gallic acid, the researchers speculated.

Mangoes are a fruit that should be included in your diet if you want to stay healthy. These fruits, however, don’t miraculously treat or avoid illness, and they can’t compensate for a poor diet.
